Property Details

Welcome to The Parker House!

The Parker House, with 2500 sq. ft. of living space, is the perfect home for family reunions, Thanksgiving and other special gatherings. The décor is contemporary Americana, with clean lines, sturdy handsome furnishings and homey quilts and colorful artwork. The Parker House has two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, deck and a large ensuite bath with a soaking tub with its own ocean view. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Nearby is a full bath in the hall. The living room and large open kitchen and dining areas are both upstairs as well. The living room has a gas fireplace and TV with DVD. The large windows offer excellent storm watching in the winter. The kitchen features a breakfast bar, informal breakfast table and formal dining area with fireplace. There’s a small deck just off the kitchen on the south side with an ocean view. This deck is especially good for watching the Kite Festival or July 4th fireworks. The laundry area is in the kitchen for your convenience. Downstairs is a large family room with TV/DVD, another full bath and 2 more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed; the other has 2 twin bunk-beds. So with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 6 twin beds, The Parker House will sleep up to 10 people total. There’s a double garage and plenty of off-street parking available too.

Enjoy the laid back lifestyle of Long Beach and the Peninsula! The Parker House is a beautifully furnished home with double garage near beach and the Discovery Trail -- an easy walk to beach activities or downtown. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are all close by, plus lots of things for the kids to do. There’s miniature golf, the arcade and carnival rides are just a few blocks away. The nearby Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and, of course fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve.

There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Leadbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.

With so much to offer, Parker House is a wonderful place for making magical vacation memories!

No refunds will be issued for early departures or changes in plans due to inclement weather.

Wonderful Getaway by Catherine Vankeirsbulck 08/04/2018
The Parker House was perfect for our “friends vacation”. We had three families staying in the house together and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was great for cooking meals in while everyone was hanging out. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. We loved that the house is in a cul-de-sac and the kids could fly their kites without worrying about cars driving by. Very easy walk to the beach which we took advantage of often.
The house was very clean when we arrived. The only complaint we had was that those horrible little burrs were stuck in the carpeting inside the house and if anyone was barefoot, it was terrible getting them stuck in their feet.
Overall it was an amazing vacation and I would definitely book Parker House again if we ever need that much room.
It's lovely but needs some updating by Beth Hardy 07/05/2018
We love Parker house and have been staying here for years. The location is great! I think it might be time to update a little. It's time for new mattresses & towels. The whole house could use a really good scrubbing. The shower curtain is moldy and needs to be replaced. It also would be great to have some family things to do in the yard; badminton maybe or even a picnic table or two.
Perfect, perfect, perfect! by Janell Galloway 06/27/2018
We spent a wonderful, long weekend here with our kids and grandkids! There's plenty of room upstairs for everyone to hang out together, but there's also another great room downstairs. The beach is maybe 100 yds away and there's a great walking/biking path running alongside it. You can see the ocean from the front of the house and the back, so it feels like you're at a seaside retreat, but you're actually walking distance from a sweet little downtown with several award-winning clam chowders and 64 flavors of ice cream! We will definitely go back to Long Beach and if the Parker House is available, we'll book it again!
Perfect Location! by Michele Perez 05/31/2018
This was our second time staying in this house and we love this house. Perfect for multiple families, kids and right on the beach! We will be back next year!
Amazing house and location! by Jerry Doolittle 05/17/2018
The Parker House has an amazing location you can walk to the beach or walk to town very short walk. The house was very clean and roomy. The kitchen was stocked with everything you can think of. There was plenty of room for everybody to relax and enjoy their own space. The two car garage was an added bonus would definitely stay there again if the opportunity came up

Great location! Great Views! by Christy Searle 03/15/2018
This is our second time using this property management company, and they were great!
The house was very spacious and clean. The views are fantastic from every room! The location is close to town but is very quiet. We will definitely stay again.
Great space - we had 7 folks in Parker House, and we had a nice amount of room to spread. by Kerry Hutsell 10/12/2017
Great views, short walk to town, good quality home and well stocked. We will definitely look at Parker House for our next visit to Long Beach.
Clean & close to everything by Julie Luc 10/05/2017
We all enjoyed our stay at the Parker House and will definitely return. The house is clean and spacious. No pet smell which was a plus. Thank you to the property management team which was very friendly and helpful.
pleasant by steve mackenzie 08/16/2017
The home and location were terrific. Our views of the beach and surrounding area were terrific.
We we disappointed the microwave was not working and concerned about the refrigerator/freezer being quite warm to the touch on the outside walls. Some of the cooking pots and pans and cutting boards still had dried food on them from the last occupants. We did not cook in the home with the exception of boiling some eggs. These concerns were reported to Property Management.
nice house. not nice property management by Parker LeVay 07/28/2017
House was nice but property management treated me like I was a 15 year old teenager with the parents out of town. Petty and unprofessional. Other than that the house is nice.
Beautiful, spacious beach getaway!! by Ronda Heston 07/18/2017
The Parker House is a beautiful, spacious, well equipped beach house. It has tons of space, lots of sleeping space, adiquate bathrooms and all the amenities you need when you are away from home.
The beach views were amazing, the house is within a short walking distance of the beach and the town of Long Beach.
If your looking for a great family vacation or a cozy getaway, the Parker House is for you!
What a great place! Most enjoyable house we have ever rented. by Megan Straughan 04/26/2017
This was such a well laid out house. There are views of the ocean from almost every room. Easy beach access, close to town and has so much room. There were 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone did not want to leave.
Parker House - Easter Weekend 2017 by Al Snelling 04/13/2017
The Parker House sits on the property at such an angle to give a great view of the ocean and beach from the entire front of the house and has a very nice deck off the dining area to sit and watch the surf and the Discovery Trail which runs along the beach and is a short walk from the house. The house is on two floors and the bedrooms are more than adequate for three couples and bunk room for kids; 2 separate recreational rooms with TV. Beach access is a short walk. Location to beach and downtown are ideal.
The House was overall a good stay for the Easter Weekend.
The House is managed by Pacific Realty of Long Beach and per their recommendation upon arrival to
inspect and check the House thoroughly for any existing damage or malfunctions and advise them immediately. Also in today's high tech world take pix with your phone. Reason - your security deposit may be in danger. We had no such problem.
We would highly recommend if time permits you review the contract for this VRBO prior to closing your arrangements. For example: the names of each guest old and young, make and model of vehicle, state and tag number will appear on the contract.
Note: NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FISHERMAN - No fish cleaning in rental and no disposal of fish/shellfish in garbage. There is no fish cleaning station in close proximity to this rental. First clam fishing opening in a year occurred over Easter Weekend 2017. Whoops.
Upon our departure we left a list of seven recommendations and concerns for the Parker House with Pac Realty to be addressed by the owner and the cleaning company. Pac Realty - thank you.
Did you know TV provided by VRBO locations can be a minimum. I never realized Wonder Woman's waist was so small and I had to watch it several times so I could see her airplane.

Beautiful house in a great location by 03/23/2017
The house exceeded our expectations! It was lovely, cozy and the perfect place for a getaway weekend for a group of friends. Check in and out was easy and smooth. Would definitely rent again.
Great property close to town! by Julia Templeton 07/07/2016
The Parker house has a wonderful floor plan that is perfect for families. My husband and I took our children and grandchildren for a weekend, and the nine of us really enjoyed the space. The house was actually roomier than what the pictures online show. If you are looking for a pet-free property that is located on a quiet street close to town, and a couple minute walk to the beach, I would recommend the Parker House. The management company was also very pleasant and easy to work with. We hope to visit again in the future.
Good house with bad customer service and experience by VN 03/17/2016
I have to rate this house poor for their customer service and how they reacted to the customers although the design of the house, location, and how convenient it is to the town and the beach. We are a group of 10 people with a 1 year old kid rented the house for our mini trip to Long beach. We were all excited to the see the house, how nice it is and how good it is although there were problems with the kitchen fan (it doesn't work property at all), no sponge for dish washing (we had to bring our own), expired spices (lucky we brought our own), window without screen that allowed mosquitos accessing to the house ( it even bites our child and ourselves). Despite all of these problems, We were enjoy and were talking about coming back some day. HOWEVER, the biggest problem is the property manager of this house. We received a letter telling that he/she has clear evidences that we were using drug in the house while None of us is a smoking person nor using drug ( i was pissed that about to call and ask what kind of evidence you were talking about and should a DNA test needed to clear it out and give us back our reputation). It's funny that the property manager said that we left drug in the drawer ( i left lot of MCDonald ketchup and pepper and salt for you so your next renters can use it due to your house doesn't have it).WOW, is drug that cheap to left in the drawer?????? Second, on the letter indicated that the property manager has neighbors proved that we had more than 10 people. I guess that neighbors must not know how to count, perhaps a 1 year old kid count as an adult while he is not even a toddler yet. IT's funny thing here is they count people by the amount of trash. Let me telling you this with 10 people that amount of trash was already less. Other group of 10 had less on the amount of garbage doesn't meant we have to do the same. Asian tend to eat more food , cooking more, and the FOOD CAN BE SMELL (I guess Asian food smell like DRUG to you huh?). The smell of our food can be smell like drug to you but doesn't mean we are using drug. If you expect we came here and not cooking but buying food then the amount of your garbage will be less then should put it straight on the contract. Moreover, If you need to charge us for the deposit because it takes lot of work to clean up, then yes we can understand, but if you just find ridiculous excuses to charge us for sure you will lost customers. $100 is nothing but good to see how your business treat customers.
A fair warning before you decide to cook in the house. by Vu Nguyen 03/17/2016
We stayed there for 2 nights with a party of 10 and 1 kid (disclaimer: we didn't report the kid when we signed the contract since we thought we could find a babysitter for him). We are Asian family so we cooked all of our meals during our stay. We received a letter later stating that we smoked drug in the house and they claimed that they found marijuana device on the premises. None of us even smoke! Could it be the smell from our food confused them with marijuana? I don't know! I called the manager, she was very agitated and definitely not very good at customer service. Since she still has that device, all of us going to take a ADN test on it and seek legal advice. This is not about money but about someone accusing us being drug users. So again, just be very careful when you stay there. They can say whatever they want after the fact.
Overall, we liked the house itself, very spacious. Is it worth the headache afterward? I don't think so.
Great place for friends and family! by Gina Garner 05/26/2015
A group of us came to the Parker house to celebrate mine and my friends birthdays! We loved how spacious the house was and comfortable! Also it's walking distance away from town and the beach. Only complaint we had was there was no sponge to clean our dishes, no extra garbage bags, and no extra paper towels. Besides the lack of supplies, we really loved our time here and plan on coming back next year!
Parker Vacation Home by Christine Thompson 01/29/2014
When in Long Beach, this will be our "go to" vacation home - very comfortable and close to everything.
Wonderful Ocean Getaway by Marissa Lautenslager 07/25/2013
The Parker house was wonderful! We had 10 people (4 children) and the accomodations were great. The house is spacious, very kid-friendly with video games, board games, foosball in the garage and a great place for riding bikes. The kitchen was very well equipped which included plenty of pots and pans, baking dishes, blender, coffee maker, mixer and lots of spices. The beach was perfectly located with the trail just steps from the house and just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The trail can also take you into town which is just a very short distance. The mangement company was wonderful to work with and very pleasant. We are planning our next trip to the Parker House for next summer, but for a longer stay. All adults and children had a wonderful time!
Great Family Rental! by James Dabkowski 03/19/2011
My family and I (4 adults & 2 kids) spent a great 4 nights here this spring. The accommodations are very spacious and well laid out. Lots of room for kids to be kids and for adults to have some down time. Very close to the beach and great access to downtown. Nice, spacious kitchen, but a little short on kitchen supplies. Some teaspoons would be a good addition.

All in all a very relaxing stay and I'd highly recommend this to any family looking for a fun beach getaway!
